Bridging PURSE from BSC to Ethereum
Last updated
Currently, there is no direct bridging from BSC to Ethereum on f(x)Bridge, however this can still be achieved by bridging through f(x)Core.
Please visit f(x)Bridge on StarScan to begin the bridging process.
For the From
network, please select BSC
from the dropdown; and for the To
network, please select f(x)Core
.
Select PURSE
from the token dropdown.
Next, connect your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc).
After connecting your wallet, you should be able to see your address and the amount of PURSE you have. For example:
In order to allow the bridge contract to move your PURSE tokens, you need to submit an Approve
transaction first. Click on Approve
to execute the transaction and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
After the Approve
transaction has been confirmed, you will be able to enter the amount of PURSE tokens you want to bridge from BSC
to f(x)Core
.
Click on Transfer
to execute the transfer transaction to bridge your PURSE tokens, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Bridging transactions typically take some time to complete. It is perfectly normal for your PURSE tokens (or any other token) to take some time before appearing in your address on the destination network. Your address on the destination network will be the same address as the origin network.
Once you see your bridged PURSE tokens in the same address on f(x)Core
network, you can now bridge from f(x)Core
to Ethereum
. For the From
network, please select f(x)Core
; and for the To
network, please select Ethereum
.
Enter the amount of PURSE you wish to bridge from f(x)Core
to Ethereum
.
Click on Transfer
to submit the transfer transaction to bridge your PURSE tokens from f(x)Core
to Ethereum
. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Like before, it will take some time for your PURSE tokens to appear in the same address on the Ethereum
network. This is a perfectly normal behaviour.
Alternatively, you may also use f(x)Wallet to bridge PURSE from BSC
to f(x)Core
and then from f(x)Core
to Ethereum
. The process is exactly the same as described in this page. More importantly, if you wish to bridge tokens across networks, please use a trusted bridging service to ensure your tokens get transferred across networks safely!
